Mission

EDUCARE DC'S MISSION IS TO ELIMINATE THE OPPORTUNITY GAP FOR YOUNG CHILDREN LIVING IN POVERTY AND GIVE THEM THE SKILLS NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS IN KINDERGARTEN AND BEYOND. WE WORK AT THE INTERSECTION OF PRACTICE, POLICY, AND RESEARCH TO CREATE A FUTURE WHERE ALL CHILDREN, IN PARTICULAR CHILDREN WHO ARE HISTORICALLY UNDERSERVED AS A RESULT OF SYSTEMIC RACISM AND UNDERINVESTMENT, CAN HAVE ACCESS TO HIGH-QUALITY EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION THAT UNLOCKS THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.
