BROOKHAVEN EMPLOYEES RECREATION ASSOCIATION

The Brookhaven Employees Recreation Association is an organization that provides recreational activities and social events to employees of Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). BNL is a scientific research facility funded by the US Department of Energy and employees approximately 2,700 employees. . All members of BERA's Governing Board are employees of BNL and are elected by the employees of BNL to three year terms. All board members and officers serve on a voluntary basis and receive no compensation. Participant fees are offered at or near cost to BNL employees and their families.
