ORGANIZATION IS A STATE-WIDE ORGANIZATION OF EXISTING CHARITABLE AND NOT-FOR-PROFIT ASSOCIATIONS AND AGENCIES THAT PROVIDE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES (I/DD). ORGANIZTION ADVOCATES FOR THE INTERESTS AND NEEDS OF THOSE WITH I/DD AND WILL COLLABORATE WITH ITS MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS AND AGENCIES TO ENSURE HIGH QUALITY AND COST EFFECTIVE SERVICES FOR THE INDIVIDUALS THEY SERVE. FURTHER, ORGANIZATION WILL ENDEAVOR TO GUIDE THE FORMATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PUBLIC POLICY ON ALL ISSUES OF CONCERN TO THE I/DD PROVIDER AND ASSOCIATION COMMUNITY.
