FOR OVER 46 YEARS, WOMEN'S WAY HAS COURAGEOUSLY TAKEN POSITIONS ON CUTTING EDGE ISSUES RELATING TO WOMEN AND GIRLS. THE ORGANIZATION'S WORK HAS BEEN UNIQUELY STRATEGIC AND IMPACTFUL, ENGAGING AND CONVENING PEOPLE FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE TO CREATE A TRULY COLLECTIVE AND "POWERFUL" VOICE FOR WOMEN. IN 2020, WOMEN'S WAY IMPLEMENTED A THREE-YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN FOCUSED ON CONNECTING AND EMPOWERING THE COMMUNITY AND CULTIVATING HIGH IMPACT PHILANTHROPY ACROSS THE REGION. OUR WORK IS GUIDED BY FOUR PILLARS OF FOCUS: 1) ADVANCING REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE AND SEXUAL HEALTH, 2) INCREASING SAFETY AGAINST GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE, 3) PROMOTING ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND JUSTICE, AND 4) DEVELOPING THE LEADERSHIP OF GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN. WE ADDRESS THESE ISSUES THROUGH THREE KEY PROGRAMS: GRANTMAKING, RESEARCH, AND EDUCATION.
