SOCIETY FOR PRESERVATION & ENCRGMNT OF BARBERSHOP QUARTET SINGING AMER

Founded in 2008, The Hell's Kitchen, NY Chapter of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, Inc. (SPEBSQSA) is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to promote the rich American tradition of barbershop harmony. As a chapter of SPEBSQSA, a.k.a. the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS), we are part of a 20,000 member international organization that promotes barbershop as an art form, enriches lives through singing, and provides service to our communities. The chorus performs, competes, and does business as Voices of Gotham (VoG). VoG is ranked by the BHS as one of the top twenty barbershop choruses worldwide. With over 80 members and growing, VoG is a dues-paying organization that includes high school and college students, professional actors and musicians, and people of all ages, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds who enjoy raising their voices in song.
